Nishtha mukherji

Nishtha is a student at UNC-Chapel Hill, who, along with pursuing her passion in photography, science, music, and literature, wants to become an analyst and find a way to deal with one of the biggest problems faced by women in India: safety. She cultivated her passion for photography at UC Berkeley where she attended a summer program hosted by the Summer Institute for the Gifted. She idolizes Emma Watson for her pursuit of equality for men and women highlighted by The HeforShe campaign, her intelligence, and her need for perfection. She imbibes these qualities on a daily basis. She has furthered her love for music by learning to play the piano at a young age. She has been playing since the age of nine and is proficient in classical jazz. These are just a few of Nishtha’s redeeming qualities; she is a skilled and gifted student.
